Jaem's Sa-eela

DISCLAIMER: This Sa-eela was written and performed by me. If you wish to use it, please write me an email or send mail to Hikari Nirpaw asking my permission and describing what it was for. I hereby state that the following is an original work of mine (and it's pretty good, too :D).

Today I lost my shyness and fear in dancing in front of the free; whereas before I had worried if I was to be found pleasing, if being a kajirus would make me look silly when performing, if my musical taste and writing skill weren't good enough, despite my dance instructor Mia Harcourt's (of SL's Gorean Pleasure Silk University) kind words of advice and encouragement. Tonight I danced with no comforts other than Mistress Valleri; I had no knowledge that Mia would be there, nor some of my other classmates. To my surprise, it was recieved extremely well; my choice of music was noted, the timing went well, and many commented on my surprising grace and beauty as a kajirus.

The following is the dance; imagine if you would a simple dance pit, surrounded by cushions. A Czehar player plucks gently at a few strings of his instrument, tuning it, and the percussionist strikes a few quick beats to make sure his skins are in order. Inside the pit lay a slave, half curled as if sleeping. ((If you want the actual audio as an aid, play "Can you dig it" by The Monkees. It's on youtube, promise.))

Jaem looks up from his huddled sleeping position, curled up so tightly that some sand clung to his chest where legs pressed into torso. Eyes scan the room and slowly but surely he comes to life to the sound of a czehar's quick, ornamented tune.

The boy, with a face filled with sorrow, gazes out past a roomful of people, expression never changing. He was all alone. His form wraps back up as he makes it all the way to his knees, hands tracing slender curves.

Jaem allows his glinting, silvery orbs to widen as the unseen drifts farther and farther off into the distance... He weakly picks himself from his knees and clasps cold hands overhead, then sliding them past each other.

With a flowing motion his arms pass along his frame, legs slowly following the new sound of a soft drumbeat, taking soft steps. He arches, showing his muscular and yet curved form...and yet to no avail.

Jaem cries out softly, and hides his face for a brief moment, body once again enclosing on itself as he realizes his desires will go unnoticed. His shy demeanor holds him back, paralyzed for a moment, frozen.... He then catches on to the prying eyes, hungry, around him as his truly wretched state shows itself.

The kajirus looks about at the eager Free and his eyes turn fiery, empassioned. The boy's frame writhes from head to heel; hands dart out, fingers bent like claws. He rakes at thin air in need as the drum beat grows steadily faster, as do the nimble fingers of the czehar player...

The boy's form starts to rapidly rise and fall, breath agitated by the ferocity and power of each swipe of his hands. He shudders as the crisp wind kisses his worked, glazed flesh, fangs bared in a primal display of desire. He turns rapidly, kicking up sand which floats like mist, quickly dissipated by his aggravated gouges at the air.

Jaem slowly but surely begins to tire out, each breath shallower, rougher, more difficult for his poor body to bring in. Still he tries his hardest to bring himself forth, the last of his energy expended. His lips part and a loud, lewd, practically dripping moan escapes his lips, maintaining the savageness of his movement, and yet displaying his knowledge of defeat.

He falls forward, body half-curled on his belly. The music stops, and the small, weak form lay in the sand, glistening body coated with a fine layer of tan crystals, almost pale against his sun-kissed skin. He squints weakly and brings himself for but a moment up to speak.

"I hope I am...pleasing..." are the only words he manages to articulate before he falls over in exhaustion. The soft shifting of the warm sand beneath him at each deep, winded breath is the only movement after that, vulnerable and helpless before his own desire.

If Mistress Valleri wishes to add to this, I will allow it; I don't know what else to do, actually, lol. I just thought I would share this, as my confidence has grown. :D

Gor on a rainy day.

This post isn't actually about the combination of playing Gor as it rains outside on Earth; it's about reflecting on Gor while listening to rainymood.com and some very relaxing, reflective jazz music. Yes, I know what the jazz is all about, thank you, Bill Cosby.

Gor seems to be getting progressively worse on the whole. The death toll rises. People have sunk into using the Capture, Rape, Release as a standard rather than something to be avoided. BDSMers have snuck in everywhere, and kajirii wander about looking for a tribe to take them, rape them, and let them go rather than actually do any service (yes, this has happened in my sim as I'm sure it has in others).

But at the same time, those who are committed to the roleplay, to building story arcs, to developing characters and places and livelihoods of fictional beings, continue to get better at their wordcraft and their, well, artform. More dynamic, interesting ideas continue to pour into Gor. People are more and more often using the books as inspiration rather than a bible. I saw someone with eyeglasses on, for instance, which in some places would have caused an uproar, but Gor had sand, had metals to make frames, and the Eastern Plains have magnifying glasses and microscopes, so...why not?

It's really two sides of a coin with Gor, so far, but as the good keeps getting better, I have hope for our roleplay community. Hopefully, more people will go to heads, instead of always seeking tail.

Valleri's Trip to Corcyrus

"This is a city southwest of Ar, which until recently was ruled by a Tatrix, Sheila of Corcyrus. She was deposed for her tyranny, and after a lengthy war, the fortunes of the city are again on the rise. This city is similar to any of the walled city-states of ancient Earth Greece." - jozie.net on Corcyrus

On Saturday night, for a personal reason, I have decided to take a sabbatical to the great unknown... to Valleri at least. As I make my way around Gor I will be updating with what I find. Today I will be talking about Corcyrus, which I visited yesterday.

Corcyrus is a city, which from what I understand, used to be a giant, booming by-the-book sim. Yesterday when I visited that wasn't the case. The entire time that I was in the sim there were about ten people who were online at a time. All mercenaries and slaves, granted they weren't bad guys. Pretty cool. When I originally came to Corcyrus I stumbled on their camp which is adjacent to the city. From what I understand, Corcyrus actually employs the Blackbird Mercenaries to protect the city, so everyone's cool. And Lake Ias, (where my camp resides) has a truce with Corcyrus, so I wasn't worried about getting shot up when I met them. One of the mercenaries, who's name I don't remember anymore, escorted me to where I needed to be.

When I entered the city the only people who where in there were in the tavern. I had been there once before, visiting a freewoman who is now a panther. When I visited the first time women were not allowed into the tavern without an escort, however they were free to visit the tearoom. I couldn't find an inn from where I was standing so I asked a kajira if she knew where I could find the inn. She told me that to my left there was a tavern that I was free to stay in. "Are women free to enter the tavern, girl?" I asked her, questionably. She told me that she believed so, but she didn't seem entirely sure. Shortly after, another kajira came to my side and asked me if she might be of service. She told me that the inn was above the tavern, and what she said after that was a bit confusing. She made it sound like I couldn't enter the inn without an invite to go to the tavern. This was made clear by a female outlaw, who's name I never caught who assured me that all are welcome in the tavern and asked the girl to show me to my room.

I spent the rest of the night roleplaying by myself, making plans to go where I am visiting today. I signed off when Jaem was ready to go to bed, IRL. This morning when I signed in I put my pretty dress on and got ready to head out to today's destination (which you wont know until tomorrow!) On the way out the door I asked a kajirus to let me out. I don't think he realized that I had asked a question, as he asked me if there was any way he could serve me. This boy, if I might add, was a kickass slave. In fact, I'm going to take a few seconds to tell you about the kickassery, so that more slaves might learn to be kick ass.

This kid didn't do the perma-kneel thing. You know, when your slave bobbles up and down every time they move because they're stuck in a kneeling pose. When I first saw him he was standing as he was talking to other slaves, and then it wasn't until he walked up to address me that he went into nadu. When I sat down to be served I told him I wanted cheese and larma juice. He made a few mistakes in his serves, but when he made it, he stood up. How practical! When I was ready to leave, the polite kid walked me to the ship, and (get this) released himself to walk with me! OMFG! I didn't get to tell him WHY I appreciated his service, but I gave him a peice of "hard candy for good slaves." I'm thinking I should start carrying around berries or something, sometimes "candy for good slaves" makes you feel a bit under appreciated when you do so well. I mean, at least Yata got a pastry.

All in all, my trip to Corcyrus wasn't a bad one. I wish more people would have been there to roleplay with but it wasn't a bad time. And those mercenaries were kind of cute, if I might say so. :)

Jaem's intro post; silly Mistress Valleris and their silliness.

Tal, Masters!
Tal, Mistresses!
Tal, kajirae and kajirii.

If you already know Mistress Valleri, chances are you know me. My name is Jaem (Hikari Nirpaw on SL), taken from James Alexander Scolland by my Mistresses many moons ago, and rapidly approaching three years. I am Gorean born, from Port Kar (the good parts), where my father was an influential and gifted Green. However, as debt started to rack up with the city, the Port arranged for me to be sold into slavery, unwittingly. I escaped the slaver's boat as it was docked in Tharna and ran into the woods as fast as I could. It was there that a young slave named cara tricked me into the camp of the Sa Sa'ng Fori (at that time panthers, now taluna), and with a few bumps in the road, I have mostly been with them ever since, and am fiercely loyal to them.

My interests as far as a slave can have outside of general slavery basically extend to making me more pleasing and valuable. I am enrolled in a kajir school, and the first class I have taken is a dance one, in which I learned MANY forms of dance and how to do most of them. "BUT JAEM," you may say, "HOW on Gor can a kajirus DANCE?!" Very well, thank you, Masters and Mistresses! However, it isn't always as accepted as kajira dance. Something about a lack of breasts making ones' form less appealing....eh. I try to dance often and am, at least outside of a competition setting, normally found veeery pleasing, so if you run into me in SL Gor, feel free to order me to do so! :D

Jaem's myriad of talents.... thought I'd include this. YES, I am, indeed, being a princess by listing this off. However, as this is a blog.....I can get away with it. HAHA! * grins *

-Making Chocolate
-Making Mead
-Dancing
-General Kettle slavery
-New Slave Education
-Pleasure training (and ongoing training... * blushes a bit *)
-field dressing and minor Greenwork
-minor Scribework (reading and writing)
-Ability to speak Gorean, "Earthian", and German

My RP style generally follows as much of the inspiration of the books as it can while still allowing it to develop on its own. For instance, just because specific pastries weren't listed in Gor doesn't mean that a chocolate eclair couldn't exist; all the ingredients were there, either through Acquisition or just natural substitute.

Moreso, I'm a paragraph roleplayer SELECTIVELY. If someone is asking me a yes or no question, I ANSWER with yes or no. Not "/me looks around to see all the fine scenery of fall, eyes twinkling in the sunlight as a few leaves drift by idly. He then looks upward with a slight tilt to his head in curiosity as he listens to Her speak the words She wishes to question him with. After She finishes, he says, 'Yes, Mistress.'" However, I'm not going to serve paga by saying, "/me uncorks the paga bottle and fills a mug, walks back and sets the mug on the table, and shouts,'TADA!!!!!'" A little bit of common sense in scenarios should tell you which is right when, if I may say so without offending any Free....fellow slaves can feel offended if they wish. :P~

Behind the curtain, the smoke, the mirrors, I'm a 20 year old bisexual guy who happens to be really, really, REALLY submissive, and loves to please others...That said, I'm not Doreen. Don't come to my house and melt the doors shut, please? The locks were really expensive. T-T And I can't dance IRL, especially not belly dance. Promise. And though Mistress Valleri will argue, I'm NOT as cute as I appear in SL. Just sayin'.

Thank you for your time, and I look forward to posting again soon.
~Jaem

P.S. The picture in the right hand side happens to be Mistress Valleri and myself in what I would like to call a "grossly cute" pose. :D

Valleri's Introduction!

Hi! My name is Valleri Xue. I'm going to guess that since this is my first blog, that if you're reading this chances are that you're one of my friends from Second Life, but on the off hand chance that you were directed here through one of my tags, I figure I might as well give you an introduction. :)

I was first brought to Gor when a strange blue light popped me from the line at the McDonald's to smack dab in the middle of Lake Ias. I wandered around aimlessly until I was spotted by a recently re-collared kajirus named Jaem. Jaem quickly informed his Mistresses, the Sa Sa'ng Fori taluna tribe, of my presence. Not knowing where I was, confused, and without a weapon of my own, I submitted to the tribe where I served as their kajira for the first month of my stay. While I was in bondage I quickly became friends with the kajirus who first spotted me. He taught me everything I knew about slavery, serving and even dancing.

While I was on my knees the Ens, as well as the talunas, saw that I wasn't made to be a slave and ordered me to construct a bow. For the second Earth month that I was in camp I was taught by my Mistresses how to shoot and, more importantly, how not to be shot. I even, on a rare occasion, went in disguise as a taluna to obtain my Mistresses freedom. My collar was finally removed by Ellia, who at the time was the En Bow. After many failed attempts, she found that I was quick enough with a bow to rise to my feet. She told me to burn my camisk and pray that I never felt the cold steel of a collar again... and I did exactly that, as I stood for the first time since coming to Gor.

I became a bambina (pledge) of the tribe, and I grew to understand the Gorean culture and the subcultures (and a few of the counter cultures) which lived on my new home. I also defended our camp, making a few trades with slavers and even collared my own slave. By the end of June 2010 I had advanced in the tribe as a full taluna. As such, Valleri now works to network and make friends and allies for herself and the tribe. She is also narcoleptic and is on a mission to make bosk burgers and sul fries.

I have a more descriptive backstory, but as most Goreans don't give a flying fuck about Earth we'll just start there, shall we? My role-play goes in a few different directions. I am not a by the book role-player; I believe that my role-play is organic, and fresh. It is a new story in the world of Gor, as I'm not re-inacting any of the "old scrolls" or pretending to be Tarl Cabot's neighbor. However, at the same time a story wouldn't be a story without a solid foundation. I try to make my role-play make sense for my character. For example, I don't particularly care to enslave women. As a taluna, I see women as being worth more than just collar hangers or sex objects. Women are worth more than the patriarchy that is Gorean society gives them credit for. This being said, I have NO problem collaring a man. This is because as a taluna I don't trust men, and as a feminist Earth woman, I find Gorean men to be... well, frankly, full of shit. Someone's got to knock them off their high kaissa, might as well be me! However, in the event that I met a slave girl who genuinely wished to serve me, and felt that serving was what she LOVED to do, I would by no means stop her.

Behind the keyboard, I am a twenty-one year old college student, studying theatre in the United States. When I'm not role-playing I enjoy binge drinking, over-eating, sleeping until 3 pm EST, collecting/trading/battling Pokemon cards, shopping for vintage clothing and anything that could have existed during the 60s or the 70s, collecting Monkees memorabilia and knitting. I'm a feminist hippie (yeaah, you wish I was trollin') who supports the Socialist Party, USA. As I mentioned before, I am in a real life relationship with Jaem, (Hikari Nirpaw.) And no, he's not my slave in real life... but sometimes it's fun to pretend. ;)

I that about sums it up for today. Jaem's turn to post next!
